What is throat cancer?
Throat cancer is a cancer that develops in your throat (pharynx) or voice box (larynx).

Your voice box rests just below your throat and also leads to throat cancer. The voice box is made up of cartilage and contains the vocal cords that vibrate to make sound when you gossip or talk.
