Robotic Cancer surgery
Robotic surgery is an advanced form of minimally invasive surgery in which the movements of the surgeon’s hands are mirrored inside the human body by a robotic device.
Robotic surgery is very similar to laparoscopic surgery in many ways as it involves doing surgery through small keyholes. Robotic surgery offers a wide range of wrist movements and even more than this.
The magnification offered in robotic surgery is much more than with laparoscopic surgery so the surgery is far more precise with lesser chances of conversion to open surgery
Dr Anil Kamath is an experienced Robotic Oncosurgeon. He has been skilfully performing these surgeries with excellent outcomes.
